About Dr. Torrado

Dr. Eduardo Torrado founded Torrado Dental in 2013. He had a vision of owning a practice where patients of all ages could receive compassionate and personalized care. Today, we continue to bring his vision to life whenever we enter the office. Dr. Torrado is a highly skilled and experienced dentist and prosthodontist. He offers a wide range of general, preventative, cosmetic and restorative services. His office is one that welcomes patients of all cultures and ethnicities. Our staff is bilingual and works closely with the Latino community and the local children’s hospital.

For over 15 years, Dr. Eduardo Torrado has been committed to improving the health and beauty of his patients’ smiles through state-of-the-art dental and prosthodontic care. His passion for dentistry was revived when he graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1996. Dr. Torrado completed his General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Brooklyn, NY in 1997. In 2000, he became a certified prosthodontist after completing the program at the University of Rochester Eastman Dental Center.

In order to stay on top of current information and technology, Dr. Torrado continues his education in all aspects of general and prosthetic dentistry with an emphasis on implant surgical placement. He participates in numerous continuing education opportunities through his professional affiliations, including the American Prosthodontic Society, American Dental Association, Monroe County Dental Society, and the 7th District Dental Society, and he is an active member of the board of directors of Wilmot Cancer Center.

As a dental provider, Dr. Torrado’s goal is to optimize each patient’s oral health and well-being. He would like patients to feel confident when they smile, as well as having the proper knowledge to maintain a healthy mouth for years to come. Dr. Torrado prides himself on building lasting relationships with his patients.

A native of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Dr. Torrado and his wife Ana Mattei currently reside in Rochester, NY. They have five children, Eduardo, Arabella, Adriana, Giancarlo, and Sebastian. Three of their children, Adriana, Giancarlo, and Sebastian all reside in Florida. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and driving sports cars.

About Dr. Ghanem

Alexis Ghanem, DDS MS. Consultant in Oral Surgery

Dr. Alexis Ghanem received his dental degree from Central University of Venezuela, in 1997. He completed his residency in Oral Surgery at Central University of Venezuela and worked for 10 years as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Oral surgery at Central University of Venezuela. He graduated from Eastman Dental Center with Advanced Education in General Dentistry and completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Ghanem has a special interest in all kinds of DentoAlveolar surgeries, Bone Augmentation, and maxillary sinus lifting with Dental Implants.

He lectures to dental organizations nationally and internationally and he is member of the American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, Seventh District Society, and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

About Dr. Villanueva

Dr. Diana Villanueva received her dental degree from University of Puerto Rico where she participated in multiple associations. She completed her residency in General Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Villanueva is from Hatillo, Puerto Rico and is currently living in Rochester, NY

About Dr. Kavoukdjian

Hrant Kavoukdjian, D.D.S., Prosthodontist

Dr. Hrant has completed Advanced General dentistry program and Prosthodontics specialty program at University of Rochester.

As a Prosthodontist, he is specialized in cosmetics, smile makeovers and full mouth rehabilitations. In addition, he performs restorative procedures, ortho aligner treatments, TMJ disorder and sleep apnea appliances. He is also an active member of the Board of Directors of Wilmot Cancer Center.

Dr. Hrant lives in Pittsford, NY with his wife and two sons. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing chess and reading books.
