Dental Cleanings & Exams

No matter how thorough your at-home oral hygiene routine is, we recommend our patients visit us for routine cleanings and exams at least twice a year. During a cleaning, one of our hygienists will carefully remove any plaque or calculus from the teeth and will polish your smile, leaving it feeling fresh and clean. During the exam, we examine the smile to detect any symptoms of developing cavities, gum disease, oral cancer, or other problems. If needed, we will determine a treatment plan to help you achieve the best possible dental health.

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are coatings that are placed on the ridged chewing surfaces of the molars, which can be difficult to properly clean. The sealants block out food and bacteria, preventing possible decay.

Dry Mouth

Dry mouth is a condition that can cause cavities and bad breath. If you are suffering from dry mouth, we will work with you to determine the cause and come up with an effective treatment plan.

Oral Cancer Screenings

During exams, one of the dentists will perform an oral cancer screening. Oral cancer is highly treatable when it is detected early on, which is why it is imperative for patients to make sure they are coming in for exams at least twice a year.
